Grade A: Golden Color/Delicate Taste (formerly Vermont Fancy)

Light, golden color with a mild, delicate taste. Excellent as a table syrup or over ice cream
or yogurt.

Grade A:  Amber Color / Rich Taste (formerly Medium Amber / light A-Dark)

A light amber color and full-bodied flavor, this class of syrup is the product of choice for
consumers who desire the classic maple syrup flavor.

Grade A: Dark Color / Robust Taste (formerly dark A-Dark/Grade B)

A dark amber color with a more pronounced maple flavor, this class will satisfy those
consumers who desire the strong flavors of what has been known as Grade B.

Grade A: Very Dark Color with Strong Flavor (formerly Grade B)

Produced at the end of the season, it’s perfect for cooking and baking. When you need a
strong maple flavor in a bread or cookie, ice cream, or barbecue sauce, this is the grade of
choice.
